PROCARE INSIDER

Do You Have a Powerful Online Value Proposition?
Including “Why Buy Here” messaging on your website lets the consumer know how your dealership will meet their needs. You need to tell consumers why they should buy from you. Your ProCare Advocate can assist with your message and help you stand out from the competition. To create strong messaging, think about these questions:

  • What is your dealership's slogan or "tag line"?
  • Do you offer special finance?
  • Do you have a loyalty program?
  • Do you offer conveniences when a car is in for service?
  • Are your technicians certified?

Your ProCare Advocate has many more questions in mind to help you make your unique value clear and optimize your online digital performance. Give your Advocate a call at 800-583-2119 or click here to learn more about ProCare.

Do You Know a Revolutionary Dealer?
Cobalt has been asked by a well-known automotive publication for recommendations of revolutionary dealers. These dealers changed the way they did business in process, marketing, sales, management, etc. before anyone else. These dealers made cutting-edge or difficult changes ahead of their time (whether it was two years or 20 years ago) and may have inspired other dealers along the way.

NYC Google Automotive Summit 2009

Cobalt was the leading representative of the dealer community.

The program had some great speakers from inside and outside the industry. As you might expect, a primary topic was “when will this pain end?” John Casesa, auto analyst and advisor to the Auto Task Force, had some great historic analysis identifying that a lot of the intensity of the current slump is the result of several years of “unnaturally” high demand propped up by easy money and incentives.
In terms of what got the domestics into their current fix, Casesa took the long view and said the root cause dates from the 1930’s when the National Labor Relations Act and State Franchise Laws were passed in reaction to predatory OEM practices.
