John Holt
John Holt co-founded The Cobalt Group in 1995, based on his belief that the Internet would bring significant change to the way people advertised and bought and sold goods and services. Under Holt’s guidance, Cobalt has become a major partner to the North American automotive industry, providing marketing services to more than half the auto dealers in North America and nearly thirty automobile manufacturers.  Holt has helped Cobalt raise more than $100 million from some of the world’s leading private equity firms, including Warburg Pincus, ABS Capital Partners, and Oak Investment Capital. He holds a master's degree from the Yale School of Organization and Management and a bachelor's degree from Bowdoin College.

Joe Landy

Joe Landy is co-president of Warburg Pincus, where he has been engaged in all aspects of private equity investing since 1985. He serves on the boards of several other firms, including Avaya, Telcordia Technologies, and MicroVest. A former President of the Venture Investors Association of New York, Mr. Landy is a Trustee of the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute and of the Williamstown Art Conservation Center. He holds a BS in economics from Wharton and an MBA from The Leonard N. Stern School of Business at NYU. He is a frequent speaker at industry events concerning private equity and venture capital investing.

Ernie Pomerantz
Ernie Pomerantz began his investment career in 1969, following five years of service in the U.S. Navy. He served as vice president, managing director, and senior advisor over the course of twenty years at Warburg Pincus. Today he is managing director of Stonewater Capital. He has served on a long list of boards of directors and is a trustee of the New York Historical Society. Mr. Pomerantz holds a BS in management engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic, an MA in international relations from the University of Southern California/London School of Economics, and an MBA from NYU.

Dave Power
Dave Power is the founder of J.D. Power and Associates, a leading marketing information firm that numbers among its clients virtually every automotive manufacturer and importer serving the U.S. market, in addition to clients in many other industries around the world. He has spent 40 years pioneering and expanding the gathering, study, and use of customer satisfaction data. A veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard, Mr. Power holds an undergraduate degree from Holy Cross and an MBA from Wharton. He is the 1992 recipient of the Automotive Hall of Fame’s Distinguished Service Citation and has been awarded four honorary doctorates.

Howard Tullman
Howard Tullman is general managing partner for the Chicago High Tech Investors. He has over 30 years of management experience, including a wide-ranging background in operations, and has led a number of companies as CEO or chairman. He is President Emeritus of Kendall College and a member of the board of Experiencia World, Inc. Mr. Tullman earned a BA and a law degree from Northwestern and practiced law in Chicago for over a decade before entering business and investment. He has a long history as a teacher of MBA students and executives and has served as an arbitrator for over 35 years through the American Arbitration Association.

Tim Weglicki
Tim Weglicki joined ABS in 1993 as a founding partner. Before this, he spent 16 years with Alex Brown & Sons, where he founded and headed the firm’s Capital Markets Group. Mr. Weglicki serves on the boards of several ABS portfolio companies besides Cobalt, including American Public Education, Brandywine Senior Care, and Workscape, and is an observer to the board of NeuStar. He is member of the Dean’s Advisory Council of Johns Hopkins’ Zanvyl Krieger School of Arts and Sciences. He holds degrees from Johns Hopkins and Wharton.

Justin Sadrian
Justin Sadrian has been with Warburg Pincus since 2000. He received a B.A. from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, he worked at JP Morgan Securities in its Investment Banking Division and its Private Equity group. Mr. Sadrian is a director of The Cobalt Group, OnTargetJobs, Centrum.cz, Service Repair Solutions, Inc. and CAMP Systems International.
